Katrina Bogdon, ND
Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine
Dr. Katrina Bogdon, ND focuses on supporting people diagnosed with breast cancer during and after conventional treatment using integrative, naturopathic care. She has been working integratively with oncologists since 2007 to help hundreds of people achieve a greater sense of health during and after cancer treatment. She is committed to providing safe, researched and knowledgeable care. Under certain circumstances, she also provides general wellness care for people not diagnosed with cancer.
Dr. Bogdon grew up aspiring to be an astronaut and studying physics, but after flying in NASA’s Vomit Comet she discovered she was not the “right stuff.” Her mom suggested that she explore the field of naturopathic medicine, which was practically unheard of in Arkansas at that time. Naturopathic medicine seemed to be the perfect, integrative approach for her. In 2007, she received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the oldest naturopathic medical college in North America, the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM), currently called the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM). She is licensed in the state of Washington as a naturopathic physician through the Washington Department of Health. Missouri does not yet recognize the practice of naturopathic medicine.
After completing her doctorate, she was drawn to the integrative cancer care model at Cancer Treatment Centers of America, where she completed her residency under Bastyr University. Dr. Bogdon grew up in the Ozarks and longed to return to the region. Therefore in 2015, she transitioned her practice Our Healing Roots, LLC to the Missouri Ozarks to continue her life work. She offers in person and virtual consults at her farm in Seymour, MO, as well as online educational programs.
